    This is a masterpiece. I’m kind of speechless having, literally, just finished it. A lot of people talk about “brave” performances and oftentimes it hinges on someone gaining or losing weight or wearing make up that makes them look less conventionally attractive than they are, but usually it isn’t actually brave, but Agathe Rouseselle can lay claim to the word. Her performance is unforgettable in a movie that is equally so. I don’t know. I just think this is an all timer.

    This one’s an all time dud; terrible killer reveal, brutal, humorless script. It survives on the back of Parker Posey who does god tier work here, elevating this thing by leaps and bounds and singlehandedly affording it two stars. The parallels between Weinstein and the Henrickson producer character are staggering now, in 2022, but the movie’s still mostly bad. Easily the worst of the first four movies.
