Short and sweet, very pretty and well acted. The camera gymnastics were a bit distracting and pointless but thankfully those are pretty much abandoned halfway through in favor of a mile-a-minute, yet very easy to follow plot and a show stopper of an ending straight out of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Very good for a first feature; I think Patterson’s will be a very fun career to follow.
