• The Velveteen Rabbit

    The Velveteen Rabbit

Not sure if I’m familiar with original source material that this was based off but this short film captures that warm fireplace Christmas feeling that is missing in a lot of Christmas movies today.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

District 8 hospital helper was the heartbeat of these films. Can’t believe they killed him off like he was nothing

  • American Gangster

    American Gangster

I feel like Giancarlo Esposito took inspiration for Gus Fring in Breaking Bad by watching Denzel Washington in this movie. Both characters seem very similar in their mannerisms.

  • Leo

Generations from now people will look back on Sandler’s career and realize that Leo the Lizard was his magnum opus

  • Dream Scenario

    Dream Scenario

I too dream of Nicolas Cage every night

  • The Wizard of Oz

    The Wizard of Oz

Sepia tone makes this a fall movie. I also need to watch this movie once a year so here we are.

  • Next Goal Wins

    Next Goal Wins

I love that Taika Waititi called himself out in this movie’s trailer with a very subtle: “From writer director Taika Waititi… Loser of the Best Picture Academy Award for Jojo Rabbit…”

I guess for a movie about losing and losers he had to show that he is also one himself 🫡 😂

  • Don't

    You’re telling me there’s a chance 😫

  • Thanksgiving

16 years of waiting finally it’s over

  • Werewolf Women of the S.S.

    Werewolf Women of the S.S.

The best Nicolas Cage performance ever…

  • Thanksgiving

    I did my waiting!!! 16 years…

I was hoping that this was going to be similar in style to that gritty 70s Grindhouse Vinegar Syndrome style that the original fake trailer was shot in but I’m just glad we actually got this movie 16 years later. Now all I need is Edgar Wright to make his “Don’t” trailer into a movie and for Rob Zombie and Nic Cage to reunite and make their Werewolf Women of the SS 😳

  • The Iron Giant

    The Iron Giant

Ok, yesterday I said The Prince of Egypt was the best non Disney non Pixar animated film to come out during the 90s. Well this is one I always forget about and it’s the best non Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated film to come out in the 90s. I still think that the animation in PoE is better but the story and writing for this film is more original. Still, the 90s are unmatched by any other decade when it comes to animation story telling.
