Paul Duane’s review published on Letterboxd:
Somehow seeing Peter Saarsgard walking around in a 1960s suit makes him resemble a lugubrious Jack Lemmon. This is a measured, scrupulous, mildly experimental, highly intellectual biopic of a man most people know from one short period in his life when he pursued his influential and controversial obedience experiments. The tone of the film is unusual - almost like early Cronenberg - and the contents are provocative. I'm no great fan of Almereyda's work, however I think this is probably the best of his films that I've seen.
