Crimes of the Future

Crimes of the Future ★★★★½

class of brood'em high in the twisTeD mind of what feels like a corman/dtv cronenberg ripoff or what i assumed his son lets go brandon's movies were like before i saw one. more an ambitious, audacious bmovie in the vein of liquid dreams or the soska's remake of rabid than total mastery his late-career works like history of violence or even dangerous method (the corny nine inch nails set design really hurts after the perfectly flat, ugly modernity of maps to the stars, esp. for a movie about evolving to digest plastic), but ill take it! lysenkoist art & cultural biology, hot scenes, great score. i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/651/290/d2c.jpg
