i honestly feel my essence invigorated after watching this — no doubt this is one of pixar’s best, a nurturing look into accepting death and appreciating life on earth, even for the little things. as someone who often has existential dread, this is sincerely one of the most comforting studies i’ve seen exploring coming to terms with oneself. needless to say i sobbed throughout the film’s third act; i fell in love with this film and i’m so glad i gave it a watch. not to mention, the animation is breathtaking, always evolving as one would expect from pixar.
