This gave me 1917 vibes at time, but i liked this one slightly more. I loved that the pace was fast, but also how they made us be attached to some characters. Which also made the movie more real, feeling like you’re in the field and how brutal and how terrible it is out there. Watching people die in front of you including friends. How people would rather keep being in war than an armistice. It was all so cruel to watch.
The story was great, the sound editing and the score are highlights of the movie. I really thought this would be boring, not for a film that’s over 2 hours long, this was really entertaining and sad.
