Lifeboat ★★★½

This watch makes me appreciate the smaller stuff and masterful framing more, but the overall story still feels almost too long at only about 90 minutes, and has a limp ending. Really a film made of moments: the beginning, that woman and her baby, the urgent surgery, and so on. Elevated by its war context and especially Tallulah Bankhead, who makes sure the film never, ever become boring.
