Not really that similar but this gave me Vagabond des Limbes vibes that I used to read as a kid and made me feel nostalgic :)

Anyway very creative and charming movie.

Strangely humorous

Andrei Rublev walked so Hard to Be a God could gross me out. So filthy that I'm grateful it's in black and white.

All I remember from this is going on a school trip to the cinema and trying not to cry infront of my cassmates. I failed ;_;
