“I love you, forever. You hear me? I love you forever. And I’m coming back. I’m coming back.”
A fittingly, gargantuan achievement in film. I didn’t realize exactly how comparable this film is to Villeneuve’s Arrival until this viewing, and both have utterly hypnotizing ways of weaving their own translations of time into their respective plots. I can’t for the life of me commend Hans Zimmer enough for his absolutely spot-on, ingenious, and glorious score for this film. It’s a multifaceted storytelling function on its own, and it encapsulates the necessity of a composer in the film scene. A comprehensively mesmerizing first theater experience.
