Beautiful, thought-provoking, mesmerizing, heartwarming.
These are just a few words to describe this stunning animation.
The story: A high-school freshman who ran away from his home to Tokyo and met this girl who seems to have a special power: controlling the weather. Just a normal fictional animation you might say, or so it seems.
From that point, it's a rollercoaster of emotions as you delve into the world of Makoto Shinkai as "things" started to happen but I won't spoil anything here.
While the film storytelling is easy to follow throughout and doesn't lose it focus, the visualization is down right breathtaking.
I highly recommend this if you're a fan of Makoto but if you're not, then you're in for the ride of your life, expect the unexpected.
