A script that doesn’t make the most of its setup as well as an uninteresting and bland villain land ‘Shazam’ in the “not as good as it could have been” category. It’s fun, but it unfortunately drags at times and there are a lot of missed opportunities. That being said, it’s a great and naturally inclusive cast, and Zachary Levi KILLS it. I’d be down to see another Shazam movie. Also, best final shot in any comic book movie probably ever.
