  • The Naked Kiss

    The Naked Kiss

    ★★★

It's a fine film if you want something quick and simple, but it doesn't really hold as anything memorable or something to write home about. Sort of just in the moment entertainment, then onto the next.

  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

    ★★★

For a remake, it lives up to the original, maybe not as great, but certainly gave me the same stomach knots the original did. The set designs were just as eerie and brutal as the first. And oh my, if there's something to watch this for, it's the cinematography. The shots in this film, especially the opening sequence, are chefs kiss.

  • Halloween II

    Halloween II

    ★★★

Not even Vin Diesel could get enough of this family. A lot of people see this as just another Rob Zombie Halloween film, but for those who really just pay attention, they can see its true form. A Fast and Furious spinoff.

  • House

    House

    ★★★

Look, it's not the greatest and Evil Dead does this comedy/horror genre much better, but it was entertaining.

  • Words on Bathroom Walls

    Words on Bathroom Walls

    ★★★

Such a strong concept, and such a strong first 2 acts. Creeping into the 3rd act it looked like it was gonna be just as strong but it just turned into such a mess both script and narrative wise. The problem with it was trying to accomplish so much and trying to hold so many story/character arcs instead of just focusing on one primary thing.

Taylor Russell was the star of the show. Despite the miserable script handed to her, she really did an amazing job in trying to pull some of these scenes together. Not as much can be said about Charlie Plummer.

  • Mank

    Mank

    ★★★

Well this was a disappointment. I loved the script, the cinematography was great and of course acting was good- also the supers were really cool.

Though it falls so short in the entertainment line. Mank is just not that interesting to be a protagonist.

  • Shogun Assassin

    Shogun Assassin

    ★★★

It's like the Crazy 88 fight scene from Kill Bill but like 85 minutes long. Really fun stuff.

  • Antichrist

    Antichrist

    ★★★

1 star for the incredible opening
1 star for having an interesting premise
1 star for the star of the show, Willem Dafoes monster hog

  • Big Trouble in Little China

    Big Trouble in Little China

    ★★★

Perhaps one of the weirdest but oddly enjoyable films.

  • Casino Royale

    Casino Royale

    ★★★

Just wanted to watch Daniel Craig play poker.
"My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined"

  • Tenet

    Tenet

    ★★★

If anyone knows me or has at the very least talked to me about film, we most likely have had the Nolan conversation. I am by no means a fan. My ratings and thoughts reflect that. Quite frankly anything after The Prestige I view as boring. However Tenet for some reason was....different.

Tenet, the latest Christopher Nolan flick has a lot to offer and will tangle your mind as you grasp on to everything you're viewing from the moment the…

  • Moonrise Kingdom

    Moonrise Kingdom

    ★★★

I've come to the conclusion I'm just not destined to be a Wes Anderson fan
