A lot better than i expected tbh
Thought this was just a movie about a shark eating some people (which, sure, it kinda is) but theres actually a pretty entertaining story to it.
I see why its a classic.

  • The Godfather

So i finally watched The Godfather.

Its good, i think thats objective. It's hard to call this movie bad whether you enjoy it or not. For the 3 hour runtime, i started feeling it in the first hour but after that it really started to get good and not be as slow, made me enjoy it and kept me entertained a lot more. There is very little wrong with this one and the only reason i'm not giving it 5 is just due to its pacing and how much of a drag it can be at parts.

  • At Eternity's Gate

How in hell did Willem Dafoe not get Best Actor for this? y'all gonna hand Rami Malek the award for at best an average performance but not Willem Dafoe for an outstanding one?

That was the surprise of the year. I went in knowing nothing. I came out with my heart beating rapidly and a smile. What an exciting, funny and incredible movie. The cinematography and visuals were more than incredible. The performances were outstanding. For sure a highlight for 2019.

Consider my standards for horror raised to this level of greatness.
