Yeah noah baumbach just go ahead and put my parents’ divorce on film for 135 minutes it’s cool really it’s totally cool no really I deserve to relive the trauma it’s fine
This is so great.
The towers fall and we raise a shiny new building to fill its place. Our faith in humanity falls and we raise a shiny new pop star to give us hope.
But the pop star's damaged and we're damaged and terrorism is never going away.
This movie is brutal and thoughtful and even beyond its themes and motifs, it's a compelling character study lead by a woman giving what might be the best performance of her career.
Absolutely loved it. Thrilling all the way through and consistently laugh-out-loud funny. Entire cast (especially the kids!) knock it out of the park. See this in a packed theatre!
I’ve only ever seen the original and saw it quite recently, so I don’t have any nostalgia towards the franchise. With that being said- I liked this more than the original. It’s just so much fun.
