    Fright Night Part 2

    “…bowling?!”

    🩸

Fright Night II follows a lot of the same story beats as the first. Amy and Ed, who are sorely missed this time around, get replaced by Alex and Richie, who aren’t nearly as interesting but are okay characters in their own right. Peter and Charley fulfill the same duties in this movie as the first, but swapped: Peter believes in vampires and lives in paranoia while Charley no longer believes. Skinamarink

    ★★★½

Initially I was bored out of my mind and nearly gave up but as this went on I got this uneasy feeling that had me hooked. Skinamarink is veeeery slow and I’m surprised it’s as long as it is, but the eeriness is rewarding.

A satire on the Blair Witch Project phenomenon in 1999. Its kinda fuckin amazing and I mean that. I already can’t wait to rewatch this

    Halloween Ends

    ★★★½

it’s been said to death, but Halloween Ends is just such a strange movie. This is my second viewing (first without the rose tinted glasses of the theater experience), and I honestly feel the same exact way I did about it on my first watch. It does a lot that works for me, but there’s just certain nitpicks that drag it down a little bit.

On the positive side, I think this movie is more respectful to the Halloween series…
