A satire on the Blair Witch Project phenomenon in 1999. Its kinda fuckin amazing and I mean that. I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten the same amount of appreciation Halloween III has gotten over time but I understand that 00’s cheesy metal horror isn’t for everyone (I eat that shit up though). I already can’t wait to rewatch this
it’s been said to death, but Halloween Ends is just such a strange movie. This is my second viewing (first without the rose tinted glasses of the theater experience), and I honestly feel the same exact way I did about it on my first watch. It does a lot that works for me, but there’s just certain nitpicks that drag it down a little bit.
On the positive side, I think this movie is more respectful to the Halloween series…
