From the sunny image of flour dusting over the little pig's snout, it was clear this was going to be good. Just a ton of care put into so many aspects. Alex Wolff as the malnourished son of a rich prick is a beautiful character. Just as Nick Cage can't listen to the tape, and the dad can't eat the whole meal, Alex Wolff can't use his words to sufficiently describe his abandoned state, hence all the hand gestures and sound effects. He might not even be aware of why he's listening to the classical music tape in his car.
We all have our little lights under our bushels. We need each other's kindness and nurturing to bring them out.
