A movie that cost this much has no business looking THIS bad. I don’t expect perfection, but the awful green screen editing, cgi and lighting took me out of this movie in almost EVERY SCENE. This could be the only movie that has the potential to look better on a laptop than a big screen. I still love this series though.
What the fuck. This was the perfect rewatch experience. Still not a perfect movie, but none of the issues I previously had bothered me anymore and everything else more than made up for the few weak spots. I laughed and I cried and I get all the praise now. I’m so thankful that I got to see this in the theaters again - and it’s quite telling that it’s leaving only now.
I was at peace, staring at sea, until someone dropped a fucking anvil on me. Nothing has ever made me feel this way. The perfect combination (culmination) of, well, everything.
nothing more than enjoyable two hours, and even those weren't as enjoyable as they could've been. there were some interesting ideas and beginnings going on but, imho, they ended at that and the execution could've been way better. it's not like they lacked the money to put thought into the film and truly into every single aspect of it and to actually get skilled people to do it. sure, the aforementioned doesn't necessarily have anything to do with budget but…
