Ok so I know this movie is trash but I'll give it credit for a few things:
1. It doesn't pretend to be more than what it actually is: a stupid and corny rom-com.
2. It did have some original or unexpected things, such as Lee and Elle not ending up together (there's thousands of rom-coms that begin with the protagonists growing up, and going from best friends to being in love, it's a common and overused trope).
3. It had sex scenes that, while being short and not showing much, still were present in a movie from a genre that usually treats their characters as some asexualized romantic beings (and by genre I mean movies that are in between of 'disney rom-com' and 'adult 18+ rom-com').
4. JACON FRIKIN ELORDI. What a gorgeous young man ugh
Ok so we all know this movie is trash but it's still funny and ejoyable (aside of a few (lot) cringey scenes). It's good trash ok?
