Great film, good story with a nice message, the visuals blew me away, the acting was too tier, overall I loved it. The things that are keeping it just under 5 stars are the somewhat confusing plot development and the sometimes slow burn.

I loved it, a completely unique story, great and innovative directing, Riz was amazing. I didn’t care too much for the ending but overall it was awesome.

I thought it was a unique, comical, and dramatic take on boyhood and growing up in Nazi Germany. The set design, characters, dialogue and soundtrack all make for a great film that stands out and will give you a good laugh. I can’t say I can think of too many WW2 centered comedies and this one is a gem.
