Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
In addition to being a banging sequel to ITSV, this feels like the spiritual successor to The Way of Water, EEAAO (duh), & that scene from Under the Silver Lake where Andrew Garfield says he's living a fucked up version of the life he's supposed to live. That sounds weird but that's what it felt like to me. I cried a lot.

Luka Chuppi 2019
starts with why live-in relationships should be normalized & ends up saying that you should only go into a live-in relationship if you wanna marry (which is a weird stance). it also drags quite a lot. there are some great comedic moments though & the performances are really good.

Persuasion 2022
Dakota Johnson looks like a dreamy painting in motion in a plot-less (mostly, in a good way), picturesque adaptation of Jane Austen's #Persuasion. And I surprisingly liked it cuz it's so calming & serene & did I say Dakota Johnson is amazing?
