'Naked' is pure angst, angst in every way that it exists. Sexual, Societal, Religious and above all Existential angst.
As much as Johnnie spouts off his intellectual rants and ramblings at strangers and friends whether they are interested or not, it is in the silences that 'Naked' shines brightest. There is something profound in the scenes of silence. Only if Johnnie knew how it felt.
David Thewlis delivers a stellar act that can be considered as one of the greatest leading performances of all time.
