Cai’s review published on Letterboxd:
Turns out if you give Jordan Peele a bigger budget and less to prove, he'll outdo himself.
Efficient direction, sharpened sense of visual style, and a narrative larger in scope that mostly sticks the landing. A lot of the mechanics of the situation aren't explained awfully well, some others are overexplained in a final expository dump - a few points felt thrown in for shock too - but generally more fleshed out content to think about. And the violence didn't fall victim to budgetary constraints this time! Love that.
Also: Lupita Nyong'o! Amazing.
