This was unapologetically fantastic, even if every familial interaction made me feel gross.
Also, if you were surprised by the third act, then you're bad at watching movies. I'm not sorry.
A really visually interesting film with an entertaining story. The ending was a bit predictable, and to be honest, I would've just liked some small explanation as to why he thought that man was going to murder his family? I watched the beginning of this film, like, 4 times to see if I just missed the why, but I don't think I did.
The negative reviews on this movie are so disheartening because this shit is exactly the kind of stuff I love.
If I'm being honest, the real review is that I love the story, but it wasn't perfect and tbh Salma and Owen seem a little uncomfortable to be acting together, but I feel like it's my duty to protect a movie that doesn't deserve as much hate as it's getting.
