“I am a golden god!”
“I think this might just be my masterpiece.” is the final line delivered in this film. I like to think maybe Tarantino wrote this in as a way to tell the audience after they’ve seen his movie that he thinks this is his best work yet. I’d say I wholeheartedly agree with this statement Tarantino never actually said but I’m just pretending he meant.
The whole time watching this I was thinking, “oh this is a great scene... oh this…
This watch I saw less of the comedy, and more of the tragedy in this film. Dante is an extremely flawed character, and while Randall may be a goofball, right after salsa shark he tells Dante some of the realest shit in the movie. Even Jay and Silent Bob have more sense than Dante. Randall’s monologues to Dante prove Randall to be simultaneously the most ridiculous and logical character in the movie. But you know what’s the biggest tragedy of the film? Dante is calling out the next day, meaning someone else is gonna be stuck there on their day off.
