Doin lines in the bathroom
For the last year or however long it's been, I've wondered why Black movies like this are always rated 15 or above and now I think I understand. It's really 2 things.
1. Films like this depict something all too real that must be captured as accurately as possible which obviously leads to much violence, drugs and N-Words.
2. This is kinda true although it sounds ridiculous; the people who rate older films or just films like this is racist.…
I'm writing this at 02:44 in the morning. A few hours ago I finished this movie but I didn't really understand it so I didn't write anything but now I do get it. I'm not going to have spoilers by the way.
This film is awesome. It had me confused a lot and I honestly recommend going in blind it creates a more intense and endearing atmosphere.
This film is kinda dark though which I did not realise.
Sam Jackson is the most unlikeable person in this movie by a long shot which is a stark contrast to every other role he has ever played.
King Kong was more of a character in this. Like in GVK they seem to lean more into the fact that Kong is a Gorilla. He displays more cognitive skills than his counterpart Zilla and he shows more empathy and emotion as well.
