Joe 🎞’s review published on Letterboxd:
With its long run time, there is a lot packed into this film. Infinitely better than the original, as its toned down visuals make for an eerie experience of madness. Tilda Swinton was perfect, and the score and plot had its amazing moments (the finale). It’s so jaw dropping that it works as an extremely unique artistic vision. Probably needs a rewatch at some point though, as there’s a lot I didn’t catch on to or understand necessarily.
