Much like Part II, it takes a full hour of the 90 minute run time for this film to do anything worth while. Thankfully, once it does, the gore impresses and the climax is a genuinely terrifying sequence. It's a shame that the first hour is horrendous, as the film is far too indulgent in fake scares and its own 3D gimmick (not to mention truly awful characterizations).
