rian johnson really made a hugely idiosyncratic star wars movie that dared to be its own property unrestrained by studio interference and the suffocation of what could be deemed as "acceptable" and "serviceable" that truly solidified itself as an odd and original beast in its canon, and we let him. honestly let's celebrate that!
