  Kicking off Spooktober with a marathon of the first ten Hellraiser films. As with Candyman, my estimation of this first one has settled down a bit. Still great, though. Clive Barker's style effectively combines the supernatural with the (often literally) visceral, and Doug Bradley's lead Cenobite (as credited in this) is a horror icon for the ages.
