Been a while since I've seen this but I enjoyed it a lot more than I did last time.
John Wick mixes up the neo-noir aesthetical styles of something like Drive along with the structure of a 90s action movie and it FUCKS.
John Wick is a shining star in a world full of Taken's and Transporter's and it beats most of these action movies due to how well made it, the motivation that drives Wick is extremely well set up, Keanu Reeves gives it his all physically and dramatically, except from Tom Cruise we have the most dedicated action star right here.
What lets John Wick down is an underwhelming final battle and a rushed ending except from that this is just a crazy thrill ride with made by people who understand the action genre at its core.
