i really love this movie but i felt like i was watching a different version to everyone else as i didn't find this funny but such an interesting character study of anxious young man who's feeling pressures from all sides to be something he's not and where his decisions mixing conformity and individualism lead him. ben is such a delightfully complex character who we see go from an awkward but accomplished young man who has no experience with women to a manipulative, obsessed man who will do anything to get what he wants and it's such an engaging transformation of a character throughout. easily one of the best drama movies ever made which is a very high compliment for a movie which has a plot summary that would be very welcome on bang bros.
