Quintin 📽 Philipson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Nope feels like an authentic blockbuster for all the right reasons. One of the first scenes of the film shows a studio turning down a real horse for their film when they can just make the VFX artists make one. Every film in theatres right now would resort to VFX to solve everything, Nope doesn't. Every film right now doesn't focus on writing a well written story, Nope does. Nope never says nope to taking on these challenges that were once the norm for blockbusters in the 1990s. Nope feels like a Spielbergian film yet still uniquely Peele. My man has done it again!
