just a lowly film minor
my ranking system is as follows:
3 stars and up means i liked it
pretty cool that it really just focused on the investigation and the victims rather than on ramirez himself and his life. i can’t really think of another true crime series that has done the same.
and DAMN they really found so many people who had small but terrifying experiences with ramirez. it was a lot of personal account rather than a timeline of just facts, which made the story more interesting.
also, i listened to the LPOTL episode about ramirez…
i love euphoria and was so excited for this but unfortunately found myself disappointed. i understand why they had to make the episode like this because of the pandemic but it absolutely did not need to be this long. started out really strong but then started getting so repetitive and i couldn’t stay engaged because it felt like they were just talking in circles. (also nothing they talked about felt new or groundbreaking in any way. sorry !) patiently awaiting season 2 tho .. sigh
