    Quickly realizing that it is quiet literally impossible for me to do anything but fall in love with any of Fassbinder's films, and as I slowly make my way through his expansive filmography, he only solidifies himself as my favorite filmmaker of all time. I loved every single thing about this, whether it be the performances (particularly those of Volker Spengler and Gottfried John) or the beautiful use of music throughout the film. Truth be told, the slaughterhouse scene very well may be amongst my favorite sequences in film.
