Iโ€™m starting to think most of organised religion is just for folk to rationalise sexually abusing children.

    Too Late for Tears

    Donโ€™t ever change, Tiger! I donโ€™t think Iโ€™d like you with a heart.ย

TLFT is full on, heightened film noir camp from frame one. Iย just wanted Jane to be happy and live out her wildest, and only incidentally murderous, dreams. Who wants quotidian petit bourgeois drudgery when you can femme fatale your way to the 1%?

Plenty of pre Hays fun (โ€œmy mother warned me there would be days like this!โ€ ๐Ÿ’€) and the denouement results in a glorious set piece of unforgettably grim, grimy glamour. A must watch in Film Noir canon.

This is the most lazily written film that Iโ€™ve ever seen. I actually thought it was a parody.

I liked when Melissa McCarthy throat punched the guy who was an award winning bartender in Always Sunny, and it was just after she bought Uncle Jack some shots!ย The rest of the film... not so much.

Iโ€™m so mad at how everyone in this film treated Mia

Hai guys, I canโ€™t sleep so Iโ€™m just going to ramble about this. Itโ€™s not really a proper review nor a pithy, witty remark so proceed and read with caution.ย

I eat up true crime and scam exposรฉs so this was an entertaining, if at times upsetting, easy watch for after work.ย

So some observations that I canโ€™t promise are particularly noteworthy but maybe they are ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฅด I also canโ€™t remember names apart from Simon the Scammer. I thinkโ€ฆ
