Spider-Man: Far from Home ★★★½

Solid follow up to both Homecoming and Endgame. Holland is great as Spidey as usual, and Jake Gyllenhaal is excellent. Seems like he’s acting in a different movie than everyone else, it’s good to see him having some fun with this. This definitely juggled the feel of a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man movie with the massive scale of Endgame well.

The illusion scenes were very well done. I got some massive Arkham Asylum vibes from those scenes - did anyone else get that??

The jokes really landed for me on this one for the most part. Martin Starr just knocks it out of the park, comedically. Even if his lines aren’t great, he just delivers the shit out of them. I know he plays a small role, but in both Homecoming and this, he really stands out to me.

Also, J.K. Simmons playing J. Jonah Jameson again???? Yes please.
