existentialism deeply rooted within the society of love —the sexual, the romantic—, which in itself is inherent of social class, but also appeals to all humans. it is as profound in the philosophical scope as it is to the poetic eye.
An absolute masterpiece. This western is a film without precedents, it has an astonishing narrative, a beautiful and powerful cinematography and a flawless acting. I love how these Mexican westerns are nothing but raw, philosophical and cruel, in comparison with the majority of the American ones. I think everybody should see this creative and symbolic work of art, which certainly is one of the best films ever made.
