Rakestraw’s review published on Letterboxd:
Everything out of Emily Prime's (Winona Mae) mouth was hilarious. Honestly, I just wanted more of that. The whole future-world-cloning-mumbo-jumbo was fairly interesting while containing some moments of poignancy (sometimes I sit in a chair and feel awful) and humor (letter from the cube).
The disappointing feeling for me has to do with the animation. I feel like with the transition to digital, Hertzfeldt's animation lost some of its charm as I found the animation of World of Tomorrow to be unremarkable in almost every way.
I didn't even make through my second viewing.
