“I’m from Texas. We don’t read minds, we operate on a handshake - TEXAS!”

Qualley’s accent was deeply annoying but she certainly nailed the southern bravado. This is for anyone that ever complained that a film wasn’t gay enough. Lesbians making out to Linda Ronstadt plus a little Miley thrown in, as a treat! Would have traded Matt Damon’s entire presence for more Pedro Pascal but isn’t that always the case? As long as you don’t go into this expecting top tier Coen Brothers you’ll have an ok time.

    Worst. Escape room. Ever.

Most of this is so effective but there are a couple of missteps with the special effects that you can’t help but laugh at. Favorite part was when the Lara Croft-light female lead stiff-arms a monster TWICE! Can’t wait to go back to Paris and visit the catacombs someday 💀

Sounds like my mom. I’ve wanted to see this for almost two decades! Written, directed by and starring Latin-American women - you love to see it! We still need more of that community, as well as body positivity, portrayed in mainstream media all these years later.

Newcomer (at the time) America Ferrara absolutely crushes this role. I really admire how headstrong and secure Ana is, standing up to everyone including her overdramatic, bullying mother. Next time you want to rewatch Lady Bird (2017), watch this instead.
