This movie works mostly because of its style and lead performance from Margot Robbie, who is definitely going to win the Oscar.

While it is a bit too long and a certain character's perspective feels sort of unnecessary, the great performances, hilarious dialogue, and amazing ice skating scenes really make this something special. 

It might not be one of my favorites of the year, but it's definitely a movie to look out for. It's a great example of how to do an interesting, stylized, and unique biopic.
