My cinema blog. I started to write about films in 02/2018.
Uuuuhhhh, this was like Deserto Rosso from Kiyoshi. It's formally or experimentally cool, and that's the problem. Too much formalism and ridiculously sexy style (saturation changes, visual metaphors, etc.), coming in every moment, distract me and doesn't allow me to fully enter the movie, and I just keep wondering why Kiyoshi put them there. I'm a fan of mystery / slowness, and Kiyoshi is the director of Kairo, one of my favorite horror films, so sad. I guess it's necessary for films to be less perfect, sometimes.
Sixth From Raúl’s Horror Marathon
First. Don't watch this with your mom. It can be kind of uncomfortable.
Second. I'm saw the two first parts from The Return, and I was planning to watch this after I finished it. I read that it is better to see it before, along with Missing Pieces. Now I'm confused, but at least the non-sense, it's more ordered. So I'll take advantage of my vacation week, and watch Missing Pieces. And probably I write on my blog and will explain why this an amazing movie (better than Lost Highway IMO)
