Luke Ryan’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Last Jedi. (No spoilers, of course) This film destroyed me and completed me at the same time. I pity those who look down on people like me for getting so emotional and invested in these films because they're missing out on a hell of a feeling. It's literally breathtaking, so unexpected and conveys that classic state of mind so fully: Hope.
It's over the top, good vs. evil fantasy at its core, but with the inbetween fleshed out with heart, conflict and... purpose. Rian Johnson obliterated it.
Without flaws? No, but to me it was everything, and I went right back in and watched again a second time. It held up!
