Third time watching ‘Midsommar’ and it held up - and then some.
The prologue is still the roughest, most heartbreaking 12 minuttes of cinema of the year.
Pugh deserves all awards in the world for her performance. It’s not just good, it’s magnificent.
It is easy to write ’Midsommar’ off as being “silly” or “weird”, but if that’s all you can say about a film this complex, you should probably stick to watching ‘Fast and the Furious’.
