Wonderfully performed by Tom Hanks, and dammit, they've gone and made Jeff the robot such a charismatic likeable character.

Slightly predictable, with prominent evidence that the waterworks will be getting a workout by the end, and they do. But Hanks' always everyman performance is just so great to watch, that everything in this film moves as smooth as butter.

I really liked it, and it's totally safe for the family.
