2020 List- Click HERE
I've watched two highly dissapointing films today and (though this one is better based on filmmaking) I'd say this is the worst of the two. Of course the cinematography is absolutely fantastic and every form of design is creative and deftly original. This is why this film is monumentally dissapointing, everything but the story and characters are fantastic.
Sophia Lillis is not horrible but not good enough to save this boring and nearly unwatchable horror film and is nowhere near as original and fantastic as Beverly Marsh in IT: Chapter One which I'll be watching later today. Gretel & Hansel is a shockingly unwatchable film that wastes its unbelievable potential that still has fantastic intruiging filmmaking.
