Jack Attack’s review published on Letterboxd:
Does a good job at mocking the absurdities of World War II whilst never stepping too far into becoming sheer parody. Some of the very best child performances I’ve seen in a great deal of time. This will be ripped to shreds by some but I’ll adamantly defend it.
I must say, Stephen Merchant’s neck must be really sore since he always needs to look down at the people he’s talking with. One day, he’ll meet another 20.1 meter tall giant and it will be the best day of his life.
