Well this edit does manage to remove the worst parts of this movie it does not have the power to make it more than tolerable.To be fair i dont think anypne could make this movie more than tolerable but still.
As other have already said this movies nostalgia for the original trilogy is one of its best assets and also one of its biggest problems. Sometimes the nostalgia feels right and well placed but other times is feels forced and unnecessary. The characters of this movie are really what makes it work. If i had to choose between hanging out with rey, finn and poe or luke, han and leia i would choose the characters of the sequel trilogy in a heartbeat. I also love adam drivers performance as kylo ren! He has such a different presence from all the other sith we’ve seen.
