  For Giant Kaiju Monster Movies: Ranked movies list
  This is a movie at war with itself. We do not refer to any battle portrayed during the film runtime. Instead we point to the conflict between the simultaneous love-worthiness and hate-worthiness that confounds our kaiju movie criteria, the likes of which has not seen since Death Kappa (2010).

  A movie is torn between on offensively bad B-plot and a praiseworthy monster A-plot. A lot of love went into making a kaiju homage to Showa era. Its just that the B-plot is that bad.

  Easily the best American Godzilla movie, and the best Legendary Kong movie up to 2021. Come to see a movie that checks the giant kaiju boxes: Great looking monsters, monster fights, early monster reveal, a mecha-monster, cityscape destruction, traditional kaiju themes and storyline, and (mostly) decent pacing.   For King Ghidorah and his relations: Jiraiya, Orochi and Hydra movies list
  Kudos for Legendary bringing out Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah in a modern Godzilla film. As an American "Godzilla" movie, it is much better than its 2014 precursor. Millie Bobby Brown is a good actress. Still, a little lighting of the monster so you can actually see the monster? Would be nice.
