I-
This was so bad..? Sure, everyone’s raving about Pattinson’s performance (rightfully so, he was scary good in a literal and figurative sense).. but his accent is certainly *nothing* to write home about. God, it’s awful.
One bright spot for me though is Tom Holland. He seriously stepped up his game and I think created a name for himself outside of Peter Parker and the MCU. I was also impressed with Eliza Scanlen. She was only in it for a little while but what she was in I enjoyed! She’s powerful in a quiet way and her death scene in particular stills sticks out in my head.
Other than that.. I think the pacing is weird and the score is fine. But the story.. just isn’t it for me.
